What's a good condenser/studio microphone for solo home recording (Buble, Sinatra, Jamie Cullum...)?
I'm recording into a PreSonus Audiobox USB and singing to pro backing tracks. I need to find out some good recommendations for studio/condenser microphones. I'm singing jazz, blues and swing music, I'm a male, and have a similar tone to that of Michael Buble.
What are some good mics to use?
I have used an Audio-technica ATM33a, it is inexpensive and a good all-round condenser - you can also put AA batteries in if you don't have phantom power:
