Does anybody have a Schecter C-1 classic Electric guitar?
If so, how is it? And, which strings do you use/amp?
I've owned one for about 2 years. Got it used for $450 (still in great shape). The neck feels great, and it has a good resonance. Sustain is solid. Stays in tune. Tone knob doesn't have much range, but that's really my only "complaint".
It came with 10s, but I switched to 9s for a while. Now that I've run through my stock of them, I'm thinking about switching back to 10s. I've only used DR and D'Addario. Broke a couple of DRs while restringing my previous guitar, but I've never snapped a D'Addario.
My amp is a Vox Valvetronix (AD15VT). I'd like to get an all-tube amp, but I just don't have the money at the moment. And for what it is, my Vox is pretty versatile. Haven't read much about the new VT series from Vox, but it looks like it's considerably more capable than my older model for about the same I paid.
