Should I use a plus or standard length tennis racket?
I'm shopping around, and I've found the racket I like: Babolat Pure Drive Roddick GT. But now I have to decide between a Plus or Standard length. Yeah, I know, its only a half an inch; but the more I research the more I find differences. I have a big serve (only to get bigger, I have only been playing for a year and a half) and big ground strokes. A power player. What is better for me?
Most companies are not making that many long rackets any more. I am playing with a plus racket but since the model that I like don't come in plus, I am going back the the standard length. If you are going to play with it for a while then you may want to get the plus. If you're already have good serve and ground strokes, I think you should go with the standard length. I don't know of any pro is playing with the plus.
